THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF UCF

The mission of The League of Women Voters at UCF is to help defend democracy on and off campus and empower students to become civically engaged year-round by increasing access to voting information for all. Join us in defending democracy!

About the League

The League of Women Voters of the United States and League of Women Voters Education Fund operates as a parent organization for all LWV chapters at the national level. The League’s enduring vitality and resonance stem from its decentralized structure that includes more than 800 state and local Leagues. LWV has Leagues in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.

The League of Women Voters of Florida provides essential support to national efforts, while at the same time advocating and educating on the state and local level to achieve a more inclusive, comprehensive reach.

Local Leagues support state Leagues while working locally to further increase participation and influence. There are 29 local Leagues in Florida. The League of Women Voters at UCF is linked to and is to operate in sync with the League of Women Voters of Orange County, Florida.

The rules and regulations of the external affiliates shall be followed when not inconsistent with the rules and regulations of this Constitution and University of Central Florida.
